UK visa fees will increase yet again on Oct 8th 2018

WOW, I can't remember exactly how much I had to pay For Pairin and her son back in 2002. I don't think it was much more than 2k from settlement to citzenship.

Having watched a program years ago about a certain agency, I think it's likely that those who pay cover for those who don't.

Well thats strange, there definitely was increase's on most of the visa's on the link.

If you google the following (New UK visa fees October 2018) then on the first page under www.gov.uk there is the following script. 5 days ago - Fees category, Current Fee, New fee from 8 October 2018, Fee Change. Visit visa < 6 months, £89, £93, £4. Visit visa < 2 years, £337, £350

I saw the majority increases and a couple of decreases listed yesterday and it's certainly different today, could it be a U-turn?

Correct. The only change is that of adding 4 new fee categories for those citizens from EU countries.
