No chance of getting the missus on a 5am flight, so no money savings for me

    Not bad.

I used Thai back in July to go from Bangkok to Phuket and back which was 1350 one way.
I thought it was good as we needed to take advantage of the 30kg baggage allowance as my wife likes to bring everything back.

Im on a 6am flight next week and Mrs will have to drive to Buriram Airport to pick me up, so she will have to get up around 5 / 5:30am, so will need to sleep at 6pm the night before to compensate I would put the chances of getting picked up late at around 80%.

Always need to consider luggage as these low cost carriers make charges, im normally always OK as I can get away with just hand luggage, so it's just the fare for me IE end of the month im off to VN for a week but dont need checked bags. AirAsia currently are booking for Phuket for 442 baht O/W, im a BIG member which knocks it down to 399 baht O/W, but thats without baggage.

    Very good prices.

Yeah we needed the 30kg. I think the closest for baggage would have been Thai Smile.
We were in Thailand for 5 weeks and my wife went crazy on what she wanted to bring back to the UK.
My daughter's suitcase was just full of Thai food and we also ended up using our entire hand luggage allowance to take even more stuff back.
I was so stressed out that we was going to go over and I would have to pay excess.

I used to use Nok Air quite often before though and prefer them over the other carriers such Air Asia, Bangkok Airways, Thai Lion, Orient Thai (if it still exists).
I love the design of the planes too and have a Nok Air plushie somewhere in the house.

I think some people have forgotten the rule when posting about Nok Air.
