If its anywhere near as good as the other Swedish drama set in Thailand (30 degrees in February) it should be excellent

Agreed! I'm really looking forward to this. I also see that "Farang: Dead Man Running" is one of today's critic's choices in The Times.

Nok and I enjoyed watching "30 degrees in February" when we lived in BKK. I remember watching the moving final episode of series 1, she had tears in her eyes and I had a lump in my throat.

Yeah we were hooked after the first episode. I only found it by chance when I first got my NowTV box. We sat & watched both seasons in a weekend. I think only the second season is still available on NowTV.

Apparently there will be a third season but they're not starting shooting until next year so will be a while off yet

    Was this any good?
I recorded it so I can watch it later.
I had a flick through the channels last night and as I put the channel on the first thing I saw was Bangla Road, Patong (just funny for me as I have spent quite a bit of time there over the years).

I thought it was excellent - so much so that I stayed up and watched the next episode on All4. Just a note there - when episode 1 ended CH4 said the other episodes were available as a box set on all 4. When I searched it wasn't there in New Box Sets so I almost gave up. I found it however, using the A-Z search.

I waited until after 10pm to watch it on All4 but it just kept saying "coming soon" in the search. Will have a look tonight

It would say that, the first episode didn't start until 11.05pm - not on All4 until it finished.

Yeah I should probably have read the thread title better. Some reason thought it was on at 9pm

    I'm watching it now

I watched it on a download about a year ago. I thought it run out of legs to be honest. Good actor but a poor script. However, I see reference to a season 2. Unfortunately, I can't find it anywhere?

Finished the lot - excellent. Couldn't help spotting the mistakes though. For example, Rikard would never have been released from police custody - he had no passport, visa or other ID .

Still, its fiction - I hope!!

Have to say I agree with Sammy a little - it did seem to slow down in later episodes but ain't that the same with most series?

Is 30 degrees in February available on catch up anywhere?

I've just checked and you can download all of the series 1 and series 2 episodes if you use qBittorrent.

Thanks for that Tom. I'm a bit of a techno-phobe - although I've heard of Torrents, I'm wary of using them for fear of downloading a virus or something. Can you or anyone recommend one known to be safe?

Last night we watch the last episode. The ending was a bit naff. But it's a good film to watch.

Finished it last night too. Thought it started good, went a bit flat in he middle but then I really enjoyed the last 3 episodes. Defo set itself up for a second season but not necessarily set in Thailand
