    What is the best way to take spends while traveling around Thailand?

    I take a couple of cards too and carry most of the cash in a money belt and just keep a single card a £100 in baht in my wallet.

    Yep and the best rates are available at the dedicated exchanges like Superich - branches in the basement of the airport and at some BTS Skytrain Stations + head office in Silom (but wear trainers and take a packed lunch )

    Remember, you are supposed to have 20,000 baht (or equivalent) in cash on you at immigration. Thousands travel every day without that but people have been refused entry recently for not having it.
