Default Confirmation of employment and salary

Hi, quick question if I may?

I'm going to supply a letter from my HR department confirming my salary and length of employment. I've spoken to HR and they require a source detailing the requirement needed for the letter. I can provide a link, or a document (pdf would do I suppose). Does anyone know of a link to the UKVI requirement for this detail? I just need to email it to HR so they can make sure they include the relevant details. I know the details are length of employment and salary, but they want a source.

    Thanks.

Yeah, I'm not concerned about the content of the letter, or who to address it to. My HR department want a source that shows exactly who wants the letter, and what it's for.
Darren very kindly provided me with a link which will satisfy their requirements.

not being funnie or anything bifftastic i would say its none of your HR departments business and they should provide whatever you ask for ,dont understand the word (source)it is a very simple letter and your HR department is being very awkward a standard letter that is used for loans/mortgages etc
ive had one every year for the past 8 years

I've got the letter now, but I'll be sure to pass on your concerns to HR.

The word 'source' means that they wanted to know who asked for the letter, and exactly what it needed to contain. It turns out that the source provided was very useful as it clearly stated what the UKVI required and I received the letter the next day.

I too have had similar letters for the last eight years.

I'm composing the email to HR now......"Some fella on the internet said it's none of your business who needs this letter even though he didn't understand some of the words I used....."

I'll let you know what their reply is.
