    Default ILR granted..

My wife Ying applied for ILR on March 16th .We applied for super priority because at that time we intended to go Thailand for a holiday soon after. The appointment at Hull Library was for March 26th. This was cancelled four times until re-arranged for June 11th..
Last week we were asked to make an appointment in Sheffield and we chose an appointment today..We arrived an hour early but were told they would see us straight away..Took about 15 minutes altogether for photos and fingerprints..

5 hours later we received an email saying ILR had been granted..!

Congratulations. Having just been granted ILR ourselves, I know the feeling of relief at coming to the end of a long and complicated road.

I’m curious, are they going to refund you the £800 super priority fee?

Sadly no refund of £800 but did get a decision in 5 hours..so was super fast..To have got the refund I would have to have withdrawn my application and applied again with an ordinary ILR..

    Congratulations.

I have a question if you don't mind please.
Did you upload the documents online?

If so did you upload the Thai language and English one separately or as one document?
i.e. uploading marriage certificate as one document including translation.

Uploaded all documents apart from the declarations you have to sign for the Home Office to look into bank accounts..If you upload in PDF form ,which most people do, then you can include any Thai documents in multiple page PDFs..I did not upload any Thai language documents because all translated documents were checked at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and stamped as true translations..Also I doubt if there are many Thai written language experts in the Home Office!
