    Default Citizenship Successful

Finally reached the end of the long road as my wife received her letter today, confirming a successful citizenship application.

We applied 16th May. Submitted biometrics via the new IDV app on 27th August and received the decision today.

Thanks to everyone on this forum for all the great information and help received.

That's excellent news Stu, an expensive and time-consuming process, all that is left to do now is to get the UK passport and enjoy some stress-free travel (once this craziness is over!).

My wife has just received her letter confirming a successful Citizenship application. The letter goes on to say that there will be a potential delay of about twelve weeks before we she is invited to the Citizenship Ceremony. We elected not to use the ID application and attended a service centre instead. The result was e-mailed the same afternoon!!

    Congratulations Stu and laarbruch.
Well done getting through the lengthy and painful Visa process.
Although we have ILR we will wait for Citizenship until next year.
