Oh so sad to hear of Steve's death. Being away I missed the announcement but was advised by Dave to take a look at the site. This is truly sad news and a tremendous loss to his family and to all of us who knew him or benefitted from his advice over the past number of years. Steve will be sadly missed by a great deal of people.

Like everyone else, just logged in to the site and totally gobsmacked.

He was a huge character, and remember he was the first person who we met when Nat came over to the UK in Blackpool at the meet, and even though he hadn't even spoken to us before, met us with open arms into the community.

I have many great memories of Steve, most of which have been under the influence of course , with a few of the other members on the community and which will stay close to my heart for many years to come.

Our thoughts go out to Steve, his family and all his friends.

Very sad news he seems to have been held in very high regard.

As a fairly new poster to this forum, I did not know the man but I did notice a lot of his postings in many of the topics I used whilst getting a visa for my girlfriend.

Deep condolences to his family and RIP.

I am really saddened about this news. I didn't know him personally but read many of his posts for helpful and free advice. My wife is here today because of people like Steve giving up their spare time to help others.

My first visit for a while and I come back to the devastaing news. Roly was a great help to me and Tik when we were going through all the procedures we needed to know.

God bless you mate and may you rest in peace.

Sympathies to all your loved ones. Thank you

Just been informed about Roly's sad passing & logged on to add our condolences to the many that have already been left here. So much has already been said about him that it really is hard to say anything that hasn't been said. I only met Roly a few times but I thought he was a thoroughly decent chap, extremely helpful & without doubt a very big asset to those who got to know him & to this site in general. Some folk pass almost unnoticed & others leave a very big void indeed & I am of no doubt Roly has left such a void here on T-UK.
With the greatest respect & our condolences to his family & those of you here on T-UK that were closest to him.

    Regards CJ & Family

Just logged on and saw this. Really sad to hear about Steve.

I only met him once. Came across as a genuinely nice guy - always seemed to help others out when he could.

    Rest in peace.

Its been a while since Steve's departure.
Sadly I have just logged on after a long period away from the group.
    Lost for words.
Myself, Wanida, Leanna and Heart wish to say goodbye to Roly.
    RIP
