Just tried it now and it worked fine!
Been on Thai Airways website and trying to find flights for next summer - permanently get an error message......also when searching through other websites, eg. travelsupermarket - Thai Airways appears to have disappeared from their site.
Are Thai Airways not selling flights for next year yet?

I am trying the Thai Airways website and still nothing for international flights from London to BBK next year from June onwards?
When I search for flights for next week there is no problem.
Why have travelsupermarket removed them from their listing?
Buy cheap, pay twice.
Ever since I booked my tickets on EVA at least 2 months ago for next April I have been trying to look at Thai fares LON - BKK as a comparison in the booking system.
It would seem that Thai have not loaded any published fares (in this booking system at least) for that route as from 1st April 2011 with the exceptions of full Y class @ £3814 inc or C @ 5694 inc or F @ £9475 inc and dates beyond.
Other classes can be booked but will not quote, no idea what they are playing at, most airlines load the fares up to a year ahead?

With the increasing tattiness of their planes and ever increasing prices I am surprised they are selling flights this year. A shame as their inflight service is fantastic.
I thought I would check Thai out of Paris to BKK and they are booking and quoting with out a problem (should you wish to fly from Paris on a 777).
So at a wild guess Thai may be :
1. Pulling LHR to BKK ? (would not have thought this likely but I wouldnt know)
2. Changing the aircraft out of LHR (about time) and have yet to price the new flights?
Or maybe for some other reasons...(shrug)
I thought they were using new/upgraded planes from next April(ish)?
The system still shows the equipment as being a 747B from 1st April so they havent changed that yet.
The best I can find is this:
But I read somewhere about a newer fleet for London. On saying that, they are too costly in any case, so I never use them.

Really ? which bit. I have just come back on emirates with the lady and i asked her opinion as we approached LHR on the 380..........guess what she said when i asked how it compared with Thai ??
I concur. For direct flights to BKK, I will choose Eva over Thai any day. I can't compare to alternative routes, as have only experienced the aforementioned.
Agree, already have a flight booked with Eva for end of May (2011) at a good price.
I'm a TG man myself and actually enjoy their 747's and hospitality!!
colin 244 (with too many ROP miles not too )

Gardener, just my experience of the 4 times I have flown with Thai. Maybe I've been lucky or you've been unlucky. Guess it partly depends on individual crew members who look after you. As for Emirates, Etihad, Gulf Air and Qatar Airways, always find them to be excellent too. Have found Eva to be efficient but no more than that.
Well Thai airways have loaded the fares for LHR BKK for April 2011 and at first they seem competitive to EVA however EVA fuel surcharge is £72.00 return, Thai fuel surcharge on a return is £180.40.
Doesnt look like Thai have loaded the fares for BKK LHR yet though.

Had a go in the Thai office in London recently that they were using 777's from Paris why were we still on 747's here. The answer was 747 's hold more people and England flew more people to LOS. So fingers crossed for another upgrade.
